Kristi (Genessy) Bassett

Hey Guys! Wow! I can't believe it has been ten years! You know what they say when you are a mom, the days go slowly but the years fly by!
Well after high school I went to SLCC and got my associates degree and then transferred to BYU where I got my Bachelors Degree in Sociology. It was a really interesting major, but not too useful in the working world!
I spent time working at Franklin Covey, Oakcrest (an LDS girls camp), RPT (a physical therapy office), Aardvark Pest Control, Provo Cable, Community Action Services and so on. Nothing too exciting. I also started violin lessons and became a certified scuba diver (I had to do something while Blaine was on his mission (Malaga, Spain) :) )

I married Blaine Bassett about ten seconds after he got home from his mission (alright...three months, but still!). We lived in Provo while he attended BYU working on his Electrical Engineering degree.
While attending BYU we had our first daughter, Gwen in 2004.

She's smart as a whip, cute as a button, and sassier than I can believe! We had the opportunity to live in Portland, Oregon for a summer, as well as to spend some time living in Rochester, Minnesota (while Blaine helped work on the chip inside the Nintendo Wii), all interspersed with going to school at BYU.
Blaine Graduated in 2007 and we moved to Austin, Texas to work for National Instruments. Yeehaw! There our son, Bentley was born (September 2007)

We quickly followed up with child #3, Ivy Jane was born in January 2009

We loved Texas! We learned to eat good BBQ and say "y'all" without sounding like an idiot.

In August of 2009, however, we decided that we would give Utah another chance and so when Blaine was offered a job at Applied Signal Technology, we decided to come back home.
We now live in Lehi with our three crazy kids. I am lucky to be able to stay at home with them, though I am looking at going back to school to become a nurse or radiology tech or something like that.

Blaine just took the LSAT and we have hopes of sending him back to law school in fall of 2011.

We've got the wanderlust! It's been fun to be back in Utah but we can't wait to get out and see more of the world.

Now it is your turn! What have you been doing since 2000?!
See you at the reunion!

Here we are!

Hey everyone!

Welcome to the Granger High Class of 2000 reunion blog. It's hard to believe it's been 10 years since we said goodbye to Granger and went out separate ways. We have all had many adventures and can't wait to share. Thanks to the inventions of websites like this and Facebook, we have been able to keep in touch. Now is your chance to share your good time with the group. Please e-mail your photos and stories of your life since high school, kids, marriages, careers and other adventures to grangerhigh2000@gmail.com and we will get them posted for all to see.
